Pastor Tumise Evans

Tunmise Evans has been a dedicated Bible teacher and minister of the gospel for over two decades, passionately committed to building up people with the gospel of Christ and nurturing them to fulfill the call of God on their lives.

As the founder of Christ Herald Ministry, he has been instrumental in spreading the message of the finished work of Christ through various outreach programs, community events, and teaching sessions.

Tunmise’s deep understanding of the Scriptures and his ability to communicate profound biblical truths in a relatable manner have made him a sought-after speaker and mentor.

His weekly podcast, “Logos: The Revelation of Christ,” has garnered a wide audience, offering insightful teachings and practical applications of the Word of God.

Tunmise is happily married to Funmilola, and together they are blessed with lovely children. His family is a testament to his dedication to living out the principles he teaches, embodying the love and grace of Christ in their daily lives.

Our Beliefs

We believe in one God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that the Bible is the ONLY authority and we submit to the authority of the Holy Scriptures as the revealed will of God.

God created man as a spirit in his own image; he has a soul and lives in a body.

Man fell into sin and consequently became spiritually dead and estranged from God.

In order to restore man to perfect union with Himself, God delivered man from sin, satan and eternal damnation by sacrificing Jesus Christ, His first begotten son.

We confess that Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the God incarnate who came to save the world in fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecies.

The Lord Jesus Christ died a substitutionary death as the penalty required for the sin of humankind and rose again for our acquittal.

Jesus’ death and resurrection is the basis for our justification by Grace, and we receive by faith alone.

Christ ascended and sited at the right hand of God the father, and everyone who believes in Him is empowered to exercise His authority on the earth.

We confess that Jesus Christ has defeated and disarmed Satan, therefore sin and Satan do not have dominion over believers in Christ.

The ascended Christ has sent His Holy Spirit to dwell in those who believe the gospel. The Holy Spirit enables us to please God and to serve God.

We believe that the resurrected Christ enacted the household of faith, the church, with an earthly relevance.

The church of Jesus Christ on earth is a community of believers in Christ whose gathering is guided by the authority of the Holy Scripture.

Believers in Christ must continue to manifest the indwelling nature of God by their love walk, holy and righteous living while we eagerly await the imminent and inevitable return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
